This year’s ASPO conference will take place in Nijmegen on 13 and 14 December 2018, hosted by the Radboud University Social and Cultural Psychology department. As you know, the ASPO conference is an ideal setting to meet and reconnect with other social psychologists, present your work, and stay up-to-date with recent research developments in social psychology in the Netherlands. The conference language is English, and we welcome submissions from both junior and senior researchers. We are happy to inform you that the keynote speakers will be Prof. Michael Inzlicht (University of Toronto), and Prof. Esther Kluwer (Radboud University/Utrecht University).
You are now invited to submit a proposal to present your work at the annual ASPO conference.
You can submit one of three types of proposals (Note that data collection and analysis should be completed at the time of submission):
- Symposium (up to 4 presentations)
Symposia should ideally combine junior and senior researchers from different universities. Usually a symposium consists of 4 presentations on a related topic. Other types of symposia are also possible, such as a debate session or a panel discussion. Please include the following information in your proposal: A symposium title; names and affiliations of the organizers and of the authors; an e-mail address for correspondence; a general abstract; and a maximum of four specific abstracts (each one of up to 250 words). - Individual presentation
This is a regular talk. Please include the following information in your proposal: A title for your presentation; names and affiliations of the authors; an e-mail address for correspondence; explicitly indicate “Individual presentation”; an abstract of up to 250 words. - Poster presentation
The best poster presentation will be selected during the conference by the conference program committee, and will be awarded the Dancker Daamen award. Please include the following information in your proposal: A title for your presentation; names and affiliations of the authors; an e-mail address for correspondence; explicitly indicate “Poster presentation”; an abstract of up to 250 words.
Please do not hesitate to contact us for further questions. We look forward to reading your proposals, and to seeing you all at the ASPO conference!
